Experience the unique charms of the Hell of the North on this multi-day trip to see Paris-Roubaix.
Starting in Lille where you will enjoy lunch in the 11th century beauty of this Flemish, Burgundian and Spanish influenced city before a day visiting the famous Flanders museum. The museum is a must for cycling fans — see how cyclists used their bikes in WWI, walk through the history of the classics and try your hand at the cobbles! With mountains of memorabilia; from Eddy Merckx’s bike and Johan Museeuw’s Mapei jersey, to a bust of Tommy Simpson and an old-school Flandria team car there’s so much to enjoy. After Flanders we will head to the Velodrome in Roubaix for photo opportunities as thousands of amateur cyclists complete the Roubaix Gran Fondo.
On race day you will be treated to breakfast in the VIP lounge and have access to the exclusive team warm-up and sign-on area. Watch the bikes being prepped ad the racers warming up as crowds stand behind barriers and you’re in the paddock with the teams.
As the riders head off we enjoy unique access to the closed race roads. We’ll have a mid-race stop to watch the race take on the cobbles, then head up to the velodrome to watch the race on giant screens before we see the cyclists as they head into the velodrome. A once in a lifetime experience!

Itinerary Detail
Day 1
Bienvenue en France!
Our trip starts at Lille Europe Train Station where our staff will be there to welcome you. From the train station we’ll have a short transfer to our hotel. Our staff will review the exciting weekend ahead in our Orientation meeting then we’ll enjoy a typical lunch at the hotel restaurant.
After lunch you’ll have chance to explore Lille, founded in the 11th century and influenced by several cultures over the centuries before at last becoming French. See the evidence the Flemish, Burgundian and Spanish left on the city in Lille’s varied architectural styles, including the old city, the Grand Palace, the Town Hall and belfry and the Fine Arts Museum.

Day 2
Tour of Flanders Museum
Today we’ll visit the famous Flanders museum and Oudenaarde, where the Tour of Flanders finished last weekend. The museum is a must for cycling fans – the entrance hall has each winner’s name displayed on its own cobblestone, an excellent gift shop and is steeped in history. See how cyclists used their bikes in WWI, walk through the history of the classics and try your hand at the cobbles! There’s heaps of memorabilia; from Eddy Merckx’s bike and Johan Museeuw’s Mapei jersey, to a bust of Tommy Simpson and an old-school Flandria team car. After lunch in the Peloton Café and a short stop in Oudenaarde we will head to the Velodrome in Roubaix! We’ll try get access to the famous showers, photo opportunities and enjoy the amazing atmosphere as thousands of amateur cyclists complete the Roubaix Gran Fondo

Day 3
LIVE RACE VIEWING - Paris-Roubaix
Could you even think of a better final full day than this? You’re going to watch the legendary Paris Roubaix!
We’ll leave early and drive to the start where we’ll have breakfast in the VIP lounge and have access to the exclusive team warm-up and sign-on area! Watch the bikes being prepped, the cyclists warming up and passing by just inches from you, as crowds stand behind barriers and you’re in the paddock with the teams. A spectators favourite!
As the riders head off we’ll get in our private vehicle with its VIP sticker, allowing us to drive on the closed race roads. We’ll have a mid-race stop to watch the cyclists come past on the cobbles, then we’ll head up to the velodrome. In our VIP Classics Club we can watch the race on giant screens, enjoy the free canapés and open bar, and get ready to see the cyclists as they head into the velodrome. A once in a lifetime experience!
