Itinerary Detail

Day 1

Bienvenidos a Madrid

Your guides Jacinta and Scott will meet you at Madrid airport and we’ll head to our Hotel in Segovia, by private transfer. A welcome lunch will give you the chance to meet your fellow cycling fans and we’ll run through the plans for the next exciting days. In the afternoon you have free time to explore Segovia, An impressive aqueduct from the days of the Roman Empire marks the entrance to this fairy-tale Castilian city, with the Sierra de Guadarrama in the background. Romanesque churches, synagogues, Renaissance palaces, convents, gardens, hidden courtyards, a fortress which could have inspired the creators at Disney!

Day 2

LIVE VIP Viewing Finish Line Vallodolid ITT

In the morning we’ll head to Vallodolid which hosts today’s stage. Valladolid hosted La Vuelta’s first ever finish-line on the 29th of April 1935.Since then, Valladolid has hosted another 35 La Vuelta finish-lines, 9 of those for time trials!  We’ll be watching from the VIP area on the finish line. There are some snacks and a free bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks. The gloves are off for the Individual Time Trial, where rivals can gain precious time towards the jersey and we’ll be there to witness the joy and pain! Dinner in the hotel will round up an amazing day.

Day 3

LIVE VIP Viewing Start Village in Rueda

The ‘gastronomic’ stage of La Vuelta 25 will take off among the Rueda vineyards and we’ll be there for the start. We will have access to the VIP departure area, where the sponsors and press all congregate pre race. It’s near to the team paddock, where the teams will arrive 2 hours before and prepare for the stage and sign in for the race. It’s a fabulous experience to see the riders up close and wave them off!  After we’ve grabbed lunch we’ll head to a winery. The Rueda Designation of Origin wines are renowned for their fresh and fruity flavour. When in Spain….

Day 4

LIVE VIP Viewing Bola del Mundo

The Navacerrada Mountain Pass is one of the most frequented climbs for the peloton of La Vuelta. The race has pedalled through its summit on 34 occasions and will do so two more times in 2025. The first time, on the slope of the ‘siete revueltas’ (or seven tight curves). The second time, on the Madrid side, so as to conquer the tough final concrete kilometres to the Bola del Mundo for the third time in the race’s history. We’ll be viewing from the VIP area on the mountain on the deciding stage of 2025! When the race ends we’ll have the short transfer to Madrid!

Day 5

LIVE VIP Viewing Tribune on the Finish Line in Madrid

In the morning you will have some free time to explore Madrid! Take a walk to the finish area or enjoy the city. Walking around Madrid you will find iconic spots such as the stunning Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor with 400 years of history, the buzzing Puerta del Sol, the famous Gran Vía full of shops, or the four tallest towers in Spain! In the afternoon we will head back to the VIP area on the finish line. Enjoy the premium roadside location, live viewing on the TV screens and the free bar and snacks as we watch the Grande Finale! There will be tears, laughter, the final ride for some retiring pros and an amazing atmosphere to round up the final big battle of the jerseys in 2025!
